Before and After 4 Seasons Direct Composite Restorations

FILLINGS, VENEERS, CROWNS

At Contemporary Smiles, after extensive research and trials, we have selected the finest aesthetic composite materials available today to restore your teeth to their ideal morphology and shade in order to create a beautiful, natural smile.

Before we undertake any cosmetic work on your smile, we conduct a consultation where we ask you what you would like to change about your teeth. Then we carefully evaluate a number of very specific aspects of your smile, including such technical parameters as the size of your teeth, the golden proportion, your smile line, angulation and shape of your teeth, the incisal outline, gingival symmetry, aesthetic line, labial contour, teeth shade and many others.

We may also make use of study models which require us to take impressions of your teeth and we may take clinical photographs as well.

The lost shapes and forms of front teeth are recreated right before your eyes, during the one appointment, using polychromatic layering techniques for amazingly lifelike appearance.

While most dentists restore teeth using a single shade of composite, we at Contemporary Smiles use a palette of shades to reproduce teeth natural in appearance.

For this we use 4 Seasons composite from Lichtenstein, possibly the world's finest direct aesthetic restorative material.

The results speak for themselves - intriguing opalescence, fascinating chameleon effect, natural fluorescence, optimum translucency.

Before and After Composite Restorations

Initial Situation After Preparation Finished Restoration

Direct composite restorations enable aesthetic reconstructions of teeth at virtually the same appointment at which the problem is presented (initial consultation is necessary) - a big advantage over traditional crown and bridge work where up to two weeks may be required before the final restorations are ready. In addition, because such restorations are adhesively and/or chemically bonded to the teeth, unlike indirect types of ceramic restorations, in many cases little if any removal of existing tooth structure is necessary, allowing maximum conservation of the original tooth.

If you are not happy with your current smile, whether it is because of a single tooth or your whole mouth, you may want to consider direct aesthetic composite restorations as an alternative. Our team at Contemporary Smiles is ready to create that beautiful smile you have always yearned for. Naturally.
